π§©1. Enhanced βUnitβ Functionality
Building on the Unit concept introduced in the previous release, this release further enhances the feature to flexibly accommodate a wider range of screen environments and real-world business conditions.
(1) Fiori Recording / Playback
β Records user interactions on SAP Fiori screens exactly as performed, creates them as Units, and replays them within test scenarios.
(2) General Web (HTTP) Recording
β Records interactions on external, non-SAP web (HTTP) pages as they appear, creates them as test Units, and enables reuse within scenarios.
(3) Result Determination Settings
β In SAP processes, success or failure often cannot be determined solely by screen completion. This feature allows success/failure to be evaluated based on predefined conditions during Unit execution.
With these enhancements, both general web screens and Fiori screens can be created as Units, and various types of Units can be combined to flexibly construct complex business scenarios.
In addition, scenario flows can now be defined based on Unit results, enabling the creation of scenarios that link preceding and subsequent business processes.
π2. Improved Test Result View
The test result view has been completely redesigned so that users can see not only success/failure, but also where issues occurred, with which data, and how much time was spentβall in one place.
(1) Display of results, execution time, and error messages by test case
(2) Display of execution time for each step
(3) Detailed view of input data for each test case
(4) Detailed execution logs by step
You can now review, on a single screen, which data was entered where for each test case, how long each step took to execute, and the detailed logs generated during execution.
This significantly improves the accuracy and traceability of test result analysis.
βΆοΈ3. New Test Execution Features
To enable more flexible control and management in repetitive test execution environments, new test execution features have been added.
(1) Execution Tag Registration
β Tags can be assigned in advance when running tests to classify results by purpose (e.g., release testing, regression testing, validation testing) and to support subsequent analysis.
(2) Stop Test Execution
β Tests can be stopped immediately during execution when needed, allowing flexible handling of incorrect runs or long-running tests.
These enhancements enable more systematic management of test execution results based on tags and provide greater flexibility in controlling test execution and resumption.
π₯οΈ4. Enhanced SAP GUI Version Reporting
For customers using the SAP GUI version, reporting capabilities have been significantly strengthened.
(1) Key Value Tracking
β Data that needs to be closely monitored during test execution can be designated as key values and reviewed in reports. Items with assigned aliases are displayed as separate columns, enabling clearer analysis.
(2) Message Type Distribution Charts and Detailed Error Analysis
β Messages generated during testing are visualized by type, allowing users to quickly understand their distribution, and additional capabilities have been added to analyze error-causing test cases in greater detail.
With these improvements, test results in SAP GUI environments can be analyzed more precisely, enabling faster identification of error causes and quicker access to insights needed for quality improvement.
